This meat and tomato sauce is a great freezer standby and can be used on any type of pasta, lasagne or gnocchi.
Serves 4-6
Put the oil in a saucepan over a medium heat and sauté the onion until
softened.
Add the bacon and garlic and sauté gently for 3-4 minutes.
Add the minced meat and cook over a medium heat until browned, stirring
occasionally.
Add the tomatoes and a pinch of salt. Cook over a low heat for about 40
minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
